Venues for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 have been confirmed in the Caribbean and the United States.

All the venues for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the Caribbean and USA have been announced.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) named Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Guyana, St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, and St Vincent & The Grenadines as the seven Caribbean locations that would host matches during the T20 World Cup 2024 from 4 to 30 June on Friday, 22 September.

Along with the Caribbean Islands, the United States will co-host the event for the first time, with venues in Grand Prairie, Dallas, Broward County, Florida, and Nassau County, New York revealed earlier this week.

Three locations in the United States have been confirmed.

“This is an exciting moment as we announce the Caribbean venues approved to host the largest ICC T20 World Cup in history, with 20 teams playing in 55 matches in June next year,” said Cricket West Indies CEO Johnny Grave.

“We are grateful to the West Indian Governments for their overwhelming response and enthusiasm for hosting what will be the most significant sporting event held in the West Indies in a generation.” The seven host countries have all committed to upgrade their international cricket stadiums and practice facilities in order to continue to support and preserve West Indies cricket’s great tradition.

“We are confident that by working together, we will deliver a world-class event tournaments showcasing the best that this region has to offer with our unique culture and carnival atmosphere, ensuring a true celebration of the sport next June.”

The co-hosts for the global tournament were chosen by the ICC Board in November 2021, when they were awarded the hosting rights. Following a careful study of numerous choices, the sites were chosen.

The 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup will feature a total of 20 teams competing for the grand prize. The Americas, Asia, and Africa Qualifier will select the remaining five berths in the following months, with 15 teams already guaranteed.

The United States and the West Indies qualify as hosts. After finishing in the top eight in the 2022 edition, Australia, England, India, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka will compete in the tournament.

Bangladesh and Afghanistan qualified based on their standing in the ICC Men’s T20I Team Ranking at the conclusion of the previous T20 World Cup. So far, the Qualifiers have secured spots for Ireland, Scotland, and PNG.
