Jamieson will play in South Africa tour match | NZ XI Announced

At Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Kyle Jamieson will continue his recuperation from a hamstring injury as a member of the New Zealand XI against South Africa.

Jamieson will spend a day on the field with the NZ XI squad during the next three-day warm-up match in Lincoln next week. Jamieson was named in the BLACKCAPS Test Squad yesterday for the Tegel Test Series against South Africa.

The roster has a larger percentage of Otago players—Jacob Duffy and Dean Foxcroft—than other players with BLACKCAPS experience because Dream11 Super Smash matches are more important.

Northern Districts batsman Bharat Popli will captain the team, and NZC High Performance Network coach Bob Carter will oversee coaching duties. Auckland Hearts coach Rob Nicol and Cantebury Magicians assistant coach Fred Anderson will support Carter in this role.
