Following a yearly update, Australia maintains a healthy lead at the top of the T20I rankings.

Following the ICC’s yearly update, Australia has maintained a healthy lead at the top of the MRF Tyres ICC Women’s T20I Rankings.

The reigning ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup and ICC Women’s T20 World Cup champions have a commanding lead over their nearest rival, with England remaining in second place and 18 rating points behind when the ICC updated its rankings at the beginning of October.

Australia has since played two more Twenty20 Internationals against the West Indies, reducing their lead at the top of the rankings to 15 rating points.

The new rankings take into account all series completed since October 2020, with those completed prior to October 2022 weighted 50% and subsequent series weighted 100%.

Behind Australia and England are New Zealand (third), India (fourth), South Africa (fifth), and the West Indies (sixth), with Sri Lanka (seventh) edging out fellow Asian country Pakistan (eighth).

Papua New Guinea (11th) moves ahead of Zimbabwe (12th), while Spain is the biggest improver, rising five spots to 35th.
