After being struck in the head, Mustafizur was admitted to the hospital.

Fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was struck in the head during a Comilla Victorians practice at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and was then sent to a Chattogram hospital.

Mustafizur was struck by a ball on the left side of his head, causing him to collapse instantly. While Comilla was getting ready for their upcoming BPL match against Sylhet Strikers on Monday, the event happened early on Sunday.

According to eyewitness accounts, Mustafizur was struck by the ball when he was almost at his bowling mark. Rushing to his side were teammates and coaching staff, who transported him to the ground ambulance.

The team physiotherapist, Zahidul Islam, reported that Mustafizur Rrahman was struck by a ball during a practice session. “We used a compression bandage to halt the bleeding from an open incision in his parietal area, and we sent him to Imperial Hospital right away. We are confident that he only had external injuries after the CT scan. No intracranial bleeding is present. He is now receiving stitches for the open incision from the surgical team.”

Mustafizur was in excellent spirits, according to Sohanuzzaman Khan, Comilla’s media manager, who spoke with ESPNcricinfo. “When we were prepping him for the ride to the hospital, he seemed to be acting normally,” he stated.

With seven victories in nine games, Comilla is ranked second in the BPL standings.
